CONCERNING
DESIGNATION OF KINDS OF QUARANTINE PESTS AND DISEASES
OF FISH, CATEGORIES, CARRIER MEDIA AND DISSEMINATION

Considering :

a. that to follow up the government regulation No.15 of 2002 concerning fish quarantine in the framework to control the dissemination of quarantine pests and diseases of fish, it is needed to review Decree of Minister Agriculture No. 520/Kpts/IK.220/8/1993 concerning Kinds Of Quarantine Pests And Diseases, Carrier Media And Dissemination as already amended by Decree of Minister of Agriculture No. 841/Kpts/IK.220/7/99;
b. that to perform the controlling of the dissemination of quarantine pests and diseases of fish, it is necessary to have The Determination of Kinds of Quarantine Pests and Diseases of Fish, Categories, Carrier Media and Dissemination;
c. That in the connection with the above mentioned facts it is deemed necessary to lay down Decree of the Minister.

Referring to:

1. Law No. 9/1985 concerning Fisheries;
2. Law No. 16/1992 concerning Animal, Fish and Plant Quarantine;
3. Government Regulation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 15/2002 concerning Fish Quarantine;
4. Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 228/M/2001 on the establishment of Gotong Royong Cabinet;
5. Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 102/2001 on the Status, Tasks, Functions, Authority, Organizational Structures And Working System of Ministries, as already amended by Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 45/2002;
6. Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 109/2001 concerning Organization Unit and Tasks of Echelon I in Ministry, as already amended by Decree of The President of the Republic Indonesia No. 47/2002;
7. Decree of Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries No. KEP.24/MEN/2002 concerning Systematization and Arrangement of Regulations within Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries;
8. Decree of Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries No. KEP.29/MEN/2002 concerning Organization and Working System of Fish Quarantine Operational Units;
9. Decree of Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries No. KEP.05/MEN/2003 concerning Organization and Working System of Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.

HAS DECIDED:

To stipulate :

DECREE OF MINISTER OF MARINE AFFAIRS AND FISHERIES CONCERNING THE DETERMINATION OF KINDS OF QUARANTINE PESTS AND DISEASES OF FISH, CATEGORIES, CARRIER MEDIA AND DISSEMINATION

FIRST :

Determining the kinds of quarantine pests and diseases of fish, categories, carrier media and dissemination, as listed in the annex of this decree.

SECOND :

Dissemination as mentioned in columns 7 and 8 of annex is infected country and/or area by quarantine pests and diseases of fish.

THIRD :

This decree shall take into effect on the date of issuance, so Decree of Minister of Agriculture No. 520/KPTS/IK.220/8/1993 concerning kinds of pests and fish quarantine disease and its carrier as amended by Decree of Minister of Agriculture No. 841/KPTS/IK.220/7/1999 has been invalided.

FOURTH :

This Decree shall come into effect on the date of issuance.
